Pre-season - Arsenal score twice to lead Newcastle in Singapore

 Arsenal defeated Newcastle 2-1 in a pre-season friendly match at the National Stadium in Singapore. The win marks Arsenal's second victory of their summer tour.

Match Highlights:

Newcastle took an early lead in the 6th minute with a goal from new signing Anthony Elanga, who converted a cross from Sandro Tonali.

Arsenal turned the game around with two goals in quick succession just before halftime.

In the 33rd minute, Mikel Merino scored the equalizer for Arsenal, finishing a move that involved Leandro Trossard and Kai Havertz.

Just two minutes later, Arsenal went ahead when a low cross from Kai Havertz resulted in an own goal by Newcastle's Alex Murphy.
